Mitos e intermedialidad en la escena porteña

Abstract

A la luz de cada circunstancia histórica y social, las obras teatrales basadas en mitos clásicos generan nuevos textos y se constituyen en fuente inagotable de nuevas significaciones, interpretaciones y sentidos. En tanto un texto clásico “absorbe de un golpe todo nuestro tiempo contemporáneo” (Kott: 1969: 83), su reescritura desde diversos contextos de producción habla de nuevas realidades a partir de una mirada subjetiva dirigida, en muchos casos, a producir una ruptura con la narración convencional. Los procesos de reescritura a los que aludimos aquí dejan en evidencia la noción de teatro entendido como fenómeno lúdico y como hecho festivo pero, al mismo tiempo, lo definen como un instrumento idóneo para generar un pensamiento crítico e indagar poéticamente en nuestra realidad, en nuestra cultura y en el imaginario colectivo. En cada caso, las posibilidades expresivas de los medios artísticos y tecnológicos exploran el mito y sus lecturas, modifican la producción e intensifican la comunicación teatral
