Therapeutic Recreation: A Bibliometric Analysis from the Web of Science (WoS) Database

Abstract

Bu çalışma, terapötik rekreasyon üzerine yayınlanmış çalışmaların bibliyometrik analizini yapmayı amaçlamaktadır. Başlığında “terapötik rekreasyon” geçen yayınlar Web of Science veri tabanında taranmıştır. Web of Science veri tabanı tercih edildiğinden araştırma bulguları bu veri tabanı ile sınırlıdır. Ancak tarama işlemi sırasında herhangi bir alan filtrelemesi yapılmamıştır. İlki 1980 yılında olmak üzere toplam 216 yayına ulaşılmıştır. Yayınların menşe ülkeleri incelendiğinde en çok Amerika Birleşik Devletleri, Kanada ve Avustralya kaynaklı olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Yaşlı ve engelli nüfus oranının her geçen gün artması nedeniyle gelecekte ilgili çalışmaların sayısının arttırılması beklenmektedir.
