Abstract

O Plano Nacional de Educação ocasionou um desafio à comunidade e especialmente aos gestores da educação pública no Brasil. Um desses desafios certamente é a ampliação ao acesso à cultura. O objetivo deste artigo é o de discutir algumas questões relativas à cultura no PNE. O texto está dividido em duas partes, sendo a primeira delas dedicada a questão legal do ensino de Arte a partir da LDB 9495/1996 e a segunda, dedicada ao estudo da cultura no PNE. Por fim, busca-se traçar um paralelo entre o ensino de Arte e os desafios propostos a respeito da cultura no PNE.
