Abstract

Amb abundants fonts dels Archives Nationales de París, aquest text tracta, a partir del cas del Faisceau, la relació de l'emergència del feixisme francès i del veterà de guerra com un subjecte polític tenint en compte tres eixos. Primerament, que el projecte feixista forma part d'un espai contrarevolucionari que, des de la victòria del Cartel, va intentar organitzar políticament els excombatents. Segonament, quin va ser el suport dels veterans de guerra en la construcció del partit feixista. Per últim, la quin pes van tenir els excombatents com a militància en la presa de decisions de la directiva. Aquests tres aspectes porten a replantejar la narrativa de la "brutalització" com a clau explicativa de l'ascens al feixisme.
