Homonimia y polisemia en la enseñanza no universitaria: revisión y propuesta didáctica

Abstract

Tras una revisión de los principales manuales empleados en la enseñanza no universitaria, hemos detectado deficiencias con respecto al tratamiento de la ambigüedad léxica. El objetivo de esta investigación es doble. Por un lado, presentar una explicación detallada de en qué consiste la ambigüedad léxica (polisemia y homonimia), superar la confusión de los manuales y desechar los mitos que en ellos se repiten. Para ello, nos basaremos en la bibliografía al respecto (Rodd 2002, Klepousniotou, y Baum, 2007) y nuestra propia investigación (López Cortés, 2017). Por otro lado, se plantearán algunas propuestas didácticas que propicien la reflexión del alumnado a distintos niveles y despierten en los alumnos el espíritu científico e investigador. El objetivo es transmitir la ambigüedad léxica como parte del conocimiento del lenguaje al que se accede por medio del método científico.
