Abstract

This paper characterizes and discusses the concept of species Calothrix braunii, C. capitularis spec. nova and C. parietina which were identified on subaerial rocky substrates in go rges of the Slovensk˝ raj National Park in Slovakia . In this paper, we focused on phenotypic characters, i.e. natural and cultural morphological variability. Their variable and stabi le phenotypic markers are discussed.
