Species within the genera Thelecytharella Shuto, 1969 and Otitoma Jousseaume, 1898 are reviewed and compared. Otitoma sp., Otitoma astrolabensis n. sp. and “Otitoma” fergusoni n. sp. are described from the Pacific Ocean, and compared with: Thelecytharella vitrea (Reeve, 1845), Otitoma cyclophora (Deshayes, 1863), †Thelecytharella oyamai (Shuto, 1965), Thelecytharella crokerensis (Shuto, 1983), and Thelecytharella kecil Sysoev, 1997.
