
This article aims to invite further debate by suggesting that the format in which formulations are presented will impact upon the way the formulation is understood, reasoned with and used to negotiate meanings in therapy. It is also suggested that thinking about how formulations are presented may be a useful starting point when thinking about formulation in more general terms.
