SIMULAÇÃO ESPACIAL DE UMA PAISAGEM SOB O EFEITO BORDA

Abstract

Este trabalho teve como objetivo compreender e analisar através das métricas de paisagem, a atual situação dos fragmentos florestais na Fazenda Experimental do Canguiri e sua sustentabilidade temporal na matriz paisagística, frente à simulação de diferentes intensidades do efeito borda. A área de estudo foi a Fazenda Experimental do Canguiri/UFPR, localizada no município de Pinhais (PR), que compreende uma área de 440 ha. Foram simuladas 3 intensidades do efeito borda, a 10, 30 e 50 metros, e para cada situação foram calculados 11 índices de paisagem. A definição das classes de fragilidade foi proporcionada pela análise de agrupamento, utilizando-se a distância euclidiana e o método de ward, a partir do índice FRAG. Assim, o efeito borda simulado provocou mudanças na paisagem, na qual o número de fragmentos passou de 14 no estágio atual, para 19 (10 m), 18 (30 m) e 9 (50 m). Os fragmentos foram classificados em três classes de fragilidade à fragmentação, pela análise de agrupamento. A simulação do efeito borda, juntamente com o cálculo dos índices de paisagem, auxiliou na determinação de fragmentos mais suscetíveis a fragmentação.
