O artigo tem como objetivo abordar fundamentos teóricos sobre a técnica de Grupo Focal como Estratégia Metodológica Qualitativa. Abrange os aspectos objetivos e subjetivos do trabalho em grupo, bem como o papel do moderador e do(s) observador(es) como facilitadores do processo grupal. Destaca a importância das etapas sucessivas para a investigação através dos Grupos Focais e enfatiza a seleção dos participantes como tarefa relevante para o alcance dos objetivos da pesquisa.Focus Group – qualitative methodology strategy: a theoretical essayAbstractThe article aims to approach theoretical fundamentals on Focus Group technique as a Qualitative Methodology Strategy.
