
La matemática es el lenguaje por excelencia de la fı́sica. Sin embargo, no existe un sistema algebraico universal para tratarla en sus diversas ramas. Independientemente del área que se estudie, existen tratamientos matemáticos “preestablecidos” para abordarla, fundamentales e imprescindibles. Sin embargo, en la mayorı́a de casos la implementación de sistemas algebraicos mas sofisticados funcionan mejor para la descripción de fenómenos fı́sicos. El álgebra geométrica presenta considerables simplificaciones en varias áreas de la fı́sica, particularmente en la relatividad especial, siendo esta última la primera implementación moderna que se le dio a esta álgebra.
