Abstract

Većina starobabilonskih geneza govori o stvaranju čovjeka iz božanskog mesa, krvi, pljuvačke i drugih organskih tvorevina. Međutim, u tom stvarateljskom ciklusu božanskih izljeva i sadržaja redovito se navodi i takozvana »glina«. Zastupamo tezu da su, uz božansko meso, krv i pljuvačku, klasični istočnjački antropozi u konstituciju stvaranja čovjeka redom uvrštavali i božanski rekrement, odnosno fekaliju kao primarni glinasti ljepljivi sadržaj koji je poslužio božanstvima oblikovati biće, doduše od božanskog materijala, ali s vrlo niskom razinom božanskih kvaliteta u sebi. Sveti pisac u Post 2,7 duboko je svjestan toga postulata pa u biblijsku priču o stvaranju čovjeka unosi posve suprotan materijal koji u svakom pogledu proturječi »organskoj glini«, točnije božanskoj fekaliji. Biblijski pisac izabrao je zato »zemljanu prašinu« kao glavni sadržaj ljudskog tijela. Time je uklonio i najmanji »mig« na mogući božanski izmet od kojega je, prema istočnjačkim klasičnim mitovima, oblikovano ljudsko tijelo. A o tome kako je Bog sastavio rastresitu prašinu, sveti pisac ne donosi ni riječi.
