AOC Archaeology Group was commissioned by Jacobs on behalf of Transport Scotland with Historic Environment Scotland as the Curator, to undertake an archaeological geophysical survey to investigate the potential for buried archaeological remains at specified parcels in Kindallachan, as part of the A9 Dualling Southern Section from the pass of Birnam to Glen Garry. The survey was carried out to provide information on the extent and significance of potential buried archaeological remains within the proposed development site. The survey was carried out in accordance with the following Section 42 Consents, issued by Historic Environment Scotland on 05 July 2017: Kindallachan, standing stone: Case ID 300021117, Kindallachan, cairn: Case ID 300021118.
