Sejarah Pariwisata

Tujuan dari bab ini adalah untuk mengenalkan pembaca pada konsep perkembangan (evolution), asal mula sejarah pemikiran pariwisata dan perkembangannya didunia. Pembahasan buku dimulai dari sejarah kuno pariwisata (c. 9000 b c– ad 650), Pariwisata selama Masa Pasca-Klasik (500–1500), Pariwisata selama Periode Modern Awal (1500–1750), Pariwisata selama Periode Modern Akhir (1750–1945), dan Pariwisata pada Periode Kontemporer (1945–Awal 2020-an).
