Poecilia sphenops (Valenciennes) (Fig. 47.) Distribution. Lam Tsuen River (Chan, 2001; C.H. Wan, pers. comm., 2021). Native range. Central and South America. Remarks. Has only been recorded twice, twenty years apart. It is scarce in the wild despite its prevalence in the local aquarium trade, suggesting that it has difficulty establishing itself.
