Cardamine L., Sp. Pl.: 654. 1753. Tribe: Cardamineae Dumort. Notes. – The genus includes 239 species represented by native taxa on all continents except Antarctica. For its size, it is poorly represented in the Flora Orientalis area. Both Cardamine and Dentaria were simultaneously published by LINNAEUS (1753). CRANTZ (1769), who united the two genera, adopted Cardamine for the combined genus and, therefore, this name has priority (see TURLAND et al., 2018: Art. 11.5).
