Diospyros touranensis Lecomte Notulae Systematicae 4 (4): 100 (Lecomte 1928a). TYPES. — Annam. Col des Nuages près Tourane [= Vietnam. Border of Da Nang and Thua Thien-Hue, Hai Van Pass, near Da Nang], 17.IX.1923, Poilane 8055 (lecto-, P [P00721756]!, designated here; isolecto-, NY [NY00334763]!; P [P00721757, P00721758]!). NOTES Lecomte (1928a:101) cited Poilane 8055 from“ Annam:Tourane, Col des Nuages. Altitude 900 mètres, en forêt” as the original gathering. This collection has been located at P and NY, and here we designate the best preserved sheet, including a detailed label and Lecomte’s determination (P[P00721756]) as the lectotype.
