Red Sea main basin: Saudi Arabia (Klausewitz & Thiel 1982; Spaet & Berumen 2015). General distribution: Red Sea, northwestern Indian Ocean: Somalia to western India. Mustelus mosis Hemprich & Ehrenberg 1899 Gulf of Suez: Egypt (Baranes 1973). Gulf of Aqaba: Egypt (Baranes 1973, 2013), Israel (Ben-Tuvia & Steinitz 1952, as Mustelus canis; Baranes & Golani 1993), Jordan (Khalaf & Disi 1997). Red Sea main basin: Eritrea (Klunzinger 1871, as Mustelus vulgaris). General distribution: Red Sea, western Indian Ocean: East Africa east to India and Sri Lanka. /
