Abstract

Petrolisthes armatus (Gibbes, 1850) Global distribution. Western Atlantic: Connecticut (USA), Bermuda, Bahamas, Greater Antilles, Virgin Islands and Lesser Antilles, to Santa Catarina (Brazil). Eastern Atlantic: Gibraltar, Senegal to Angola, Ascension Island. Eastern Pacific: Mexico (Sonora and Baja California, Nayarit, Jalisco and Oaxaca); Honduras, Nicaragua, Panama, Costa Rica, Colombia, Ecuador, Galapagos Islands, Perú Records in Cuba. Gulf of Batabanó (Martínez-Iglesias & Alcolado 1990), La Habana (Cojímar) (Ortiz 2001), Mayabeque (Boca Canasí) (Barro et al. 2013), Gulf of Ana María (Rodríguez-Viera et al. 2012), Sabana- Camagüey Archipelago (Martínez-Iglesias 2007), Sancti Spíritus (Tunas de Zaza) (Lalana et al. 1980), Holguín (Gibara, Naranjo, Banes and Nipe Bays), Santiago de Cuba (Santiago de Cuba Bay) (Diez & Jover 2013, 2015), Guantánamo (Taco Bay).
