Lice of Ricinus identified to the generic level only were reported from Galerida cristata (L.), Lullula arborea (L.)*, Saxicola torquata (L.)*, Turdus philomelos Brehm and T. torquatus L. (see Balát, 1958; Touleshkov, 1962, 1964a, 1974).
