Grojec is a group of small hills located in the center of the Żywiecka Valley (maximum height above sea-level - 612 m, relative height ca. 270 cm) with very rich vascular flora and variation of plant communities. The present paper introduces proposed protection form of the selected most precious natural fragments of this area and phyto-sociological values of chosen fragments of vegetation cover. In these proposed forms of protection there are stations of Wolf's Bane Aconitum lycoctonum, known in Poland only in three localities, as well as Lady's Slipper Orchid Cypripedium calceolus. Both species are listed in various red books and endangered species.
