Description The Psychology of Maturation Framework (PMF) is a proposed theoretical framework describing psychological maturation as a dynamic, non-linear process of lifelong cognitive, emotional, behavioural, and experiential integration. The framework introduces several original conceptual components, including the 3-in-3 Matrix, the State of Continuity, the Progressive State, the Duality of Factors, the Plasmic State of Maturation, the Plasmic Limit, and the process of Reintegration, which together are proposed to explain mechanisms underlying psychological maturation and its progression. PMF is presented as a theoretical model intended to generate empirically testable hypotheses rather than established scientific conclusions. The framework aims to contribute to future interdisciplinary research by offering a unified conceptual perspective on psychological maturation and encouraging empirical evaluation of its proposed mechanisms.
