Designations not validly published:—“ Kalanchoe uniflora var. typica ” Boiteau & Manonni (1949: 9), nom. inval. (Turland et al. 2018: Art. 24.3). “ Kalanchoe uniflora var. brachycalyx ” Boiteau & Manonni (1949: 9), nom. inval. (Turland et al. 2018: Art. 39.1). Nomenclatural notes:—The attempted typification of the name Kitchingia uniflora on the plate included in Stapf (1909: t. 8286) by Boiteau & Allorge-Boiteau (1995: 81) was not effective. This not effective typification was repeated by Descoings (2003: 178), as “ T: [icono]: Curtis’s Bot. Mag. 135: t.8286, 1909”, with “ T: ” being the “(nomenclatural) type ” (Eggli 2003: X). The typification of the name Kitchingia uniflora, basionym of Kalanchoe uniflora, was dealt with by Smith (2024b: 68). Taxonomic notes:— Kalanchoe uniflora is an accepted species (see Boiteau & Allorge-Boiteau 1995: 81–82, Descoings 2003: 178–179, and Smith et al. 2021c: 255–257). Kalanchoe uniflora is included in Kalanchoe subg. Alatae.
