We present a system for collaborative musical creation onmobile wireless networks. The work extends on simple peerto-peer file sharing systems towards ad-hoc mobility andstreaming. It extends upon music listening from a passiveact to a proactive, participative activity. The system consistsof a network based interactive music engine and a portablerendering player. It serves as a platform for experiments onstudying the sense of agency in collaborative creativeprocess, and requirements for fostering musical satisfactionin remote collaboration.
