Katamyurus paxillus Opitz 1997 Mexico, Chiapas, 1 km W Ciudad Hidalgo, 14.67645° N, 92.191864° W, Alt. 16 m, Selva Mediana Perennifolia, golpeando vegetación secundaria, 6-vi-2015, Coll. V. H. Toledo. New country record. Previously known from Guatemala, Nicaragua, and Honduras.
