Abstract

Hordeum jubatum L. Artbeschreibung: 20-60 cm hoch, aufrecht oder knickig aufsteigend. Blätter 2-4 mm breit, oberseits rau, unterseits behaart, Blattscheiden +/- abstehend behaart. Ähre 3-8(-11) cm lang, Achse bewimpert, bei Reife zerbrechend. Seitliche Ährchen bis 3 mm, mittleres 1 mm gestielt. Deckspelze des mittleren Ährchens bis 10 cm lang begrannt. Hüllspelzen zu 3-8 cm langen Grannen reduziert, diese bei Reife stark spreizend, Ähre dadurch einer Pferdemähne ähnlich. Blütezeit: 6 Standort und Verbreitung in der Schweiz: Kiesige Böden, Bahnareale / kollin-montan(-subalpin) / GR (Engadin), VS, M Verbreitung global: Ursprünglich ostasiatisch-nordamerikanisch Ökologische Zeigerwerte nach Landolt & al.
