Abstract

Silybum marianum (L.) Gaertn. Artbeschreibung: 60-150 cm hoch. Stängel oben zerstreut filzig, nicht stachelig geflügelt. Blätter buchtig-fiederspaltig, glänzend grün, hell gefleckt, +/- kahl, mit breit-3eckigen, stachelig gezähnten Abschnitten, mit herzförmigem Grund umfassend. Köpfe einzeln, 4-5 cm lang. Hüllblätter stachelig, mit 2-4 cm langem, rinnigem, in einen kräftigen Stachel auslaufendem Fortsatz. Blüten röhrenförmig, purpurn. Früchte 6-7 mm lang, mit 1-1,5 cm langen, rauen Pappusborsten. Blütezeit: 7-9 Standort und Verbreitung in der Schweiz: Wegränder, Ödland, in warmen Lagen / kollin / CH zerstreut (fehlt im Engadin) Verbreitung global: Mediterran Ökologische Zeigerwerte nach Landolt & al.
