Huancavelica: Tayacaja, Huando, 4 km at SE of Izcuchaca, 3035 m, 12º30′34.9”S, 74º58′42.8”W, 24 Sep 2012, debris of Cactaceae, Lado 21786 (MA-Fungi 94551). Notes. This species is characterized by its densely baculate spores (Fig. 3F). Previously known only from arid areas of Chile, on decayed cacti (Eulychnia sp. and Echinopsis chiloensis), between 500- 1,300 m elevation (Lado et al. 2013). In Peru, it was found at more than 3,000 m elevation, also in decayed cacti.
