LE BIEN ETRE AU PRISME DU TECHNOSTRESS : ANALYSE DE L'IMPACT DES DISPOSITIFS NUMERIQUES SUR LA QUALITE DE VIE DES ETUDIANTS ?

Abstract

Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) have profoundly transformed the way citizens work and organize their lives over the last decade. Despite the undeniable advantages these technologies offer, such as increased autonomy and time savings, their ubiquitous use can lead to what is known as "technostress." Our research pursues two distinct objectives. First, it aims to examine the current state of knowledge on this subject, highlighting the health risks associated with the intensive use of ICT. To achieve this goal, we used the Iramuteq software to perform a lexicometric analysis, the results of which are represented as word clouds to identify the key themes related to this subject. Concurrently, our second objective is to explore the difficulties and stress faced by Moroccan learners when engaging in distance learning. To this end, a questionnaire was distributed to 532 learners. The results of this study confirm our hypothesis of a close link between the use of ICT and the emergence of technostress. Thus, our research highlights the impacts of ICT on professional life and distance education while underscoring the importance of effectively managing the challenges associated with the use of these technologies to prevent adverse effects on the mental and physical health of individuals.
