SATELLITE COMMUNICATIONS

Abstract

With the incorporation of new innovations enabling digital information transmission and delivery by satellite, Satellite Communication Engineering is an unquestionably comprehensive introduction to satellite communication principles and engineering. One of the most amazing by products of the space missions, satellite communication has significantly changed how people communicate internationally. Antennas, radiowave propagation, signal processing, data communication, modulation, detection, coding, filtering, orbital mechanics, and electronics are just a few of the topics that are covered in the engineering side of satellite communications. These are all significant fields of study, and each has a sizable body of literature. The book's subject matter, satellite communication engineering, focuses the pertinent information from these fields and uses equations that the reader can follow and comprehend. The purpose of this book is to present the essential ideas that underlie the majority of information communications systems in a clear and straightforward manner. Having mastered the fundamentals, one can easily progress to concrete realisations. Concepts are generated largely intuitively and physically throughout, with additional knowledge coming from a combination of applications and performance curves. Problem sets are offered to individuals looking for more practise. Those who are simply interested in a qualitative understanding may skip the parts with stars that contain basic mathematical advances without losing any continuity. Students studying electrical, electronics, and communication engineering as well as practical engineers who want to become more knowledgeable about the vast topic of information transmission, particularly satellite communications, are the target audience for the book.
