</script>The nutrient intake of fisher-men and fisher-women was investigated in Hokkaido on may 1951. The average daily intake, of each of the eight nutrients, based on 3 days records, in given in Table II. Its rusults demonstrated that the average amount of their nutrient intake was adequated except V. A, V. B2, V. C, when judged by the recommended allowance.According to the time study, both fisher-men and fisher-woven lavoured for 11-12 hours a day at fishing ground or farm. And they had little time for their culture and amusement at home.
