Efeitos da administração aguda de etanol sobre a aprendizagem no reconhecimento de objetos em camundongos nadadores

Abstract

Este estudo examina a capacidade do exercicio fisico em reduzir as graves alteracoes comportamentais induzidas pelo alcool. Associacoes entre reconhecimento de objetos e o teste do campo aberto foram estudadas. Camundongos nadadores e sedentarios controles receberam diferentes doses de etanol (0; 0,6; 0,8; 1,0 e 1,2 g/kg). Os testes foram realizados 2 ou 24 horas apos o treinamento. Durante a sessao teste de 5 minutos, os animais foram expostos a dois objetos: o objeto familiar utilizado no treinamento e um novo objeto. Analises comportamentais durante os testes, mostraram que os controles sedentarios durante o ensaio de 2 horas e, os camundongos nadadores durante o teste de 2 e 24 horas, injetados com salina antes do treinamento, permaneciam mais tempo explorando o novo que o objeto familiar durante os testes. Em contraste, camundongos injetados com etanol apresentavam o mesmo tempo de exploracao do objeto familiar e do novo (F4,196 = 8.802; p<0,001; razao de discriminacao). O etanol durante o ensaio de 2 horas aumentou significativamente o tempo de motilidade (F4,196 = 10.567; p<0,001) e diminuiu o tempo total de imobilidade (F4,196 = 17.55; p<0,001) no campo aberto, sugerindo um efeito ansiolitico. O treinamento de natacao aumentou significativamente a exploracao durante os testes de 2 e 24 horas apos o tratamento (F4,196 = 4.721; p<0,001). Estes resultados sugerem que o exercicio de natacao modifica memoria e aprendizagem, mas e incapaz de bloquear os efeitos toxicos do etanol. Alem disso, o exercicio de natacao aumenta a exploracao em camundongos, independente do tratamento agudo com etanol. 10.5216/ref.v6i2.6560
