Abstract

O texto articula o itinerário da investigação do autor a partir da pergunta pelo fundamento da moral até a emergência de uma concepção naturalista própria. Entre um ponto e outro, mostra as dificuldades para articular ação, valor e dever —a normatividade— sob um ponto de vista imanente. O eixo em torno do qual os elementos básicos da moralidade estão ligados no diapasão naturalista é a descrição da estrutura da normatividade com base nos quereres recíprocos e reflexivos. A normatividade, segundo essa descrição, seria o resultado de quereres que se constrangem mutuamente enquanto almejam que os demais quereres concernidos queiram o que eles querem, num movimento que também constrange a si mesmos, por isso, reflexivo. O texto termina com o elenco de duas hipóteses de trabalho cuja confirmação completam a concepção naturalista e a qualifica para franquear o diálogo entre ciências e moral.
