Cosmo-climatología amazónica: friaje, menstruación y conexiones femeninas murui

Abstract

Partiendo de la narrativa de Teresa Faerito, sabia del pueblo indígena murui de la frontera peruano-colombiana, el artículo expone concepciones amazónicas climatológicas que revelan las fuerzas y peligros latentes en la coexistencia de formas de menstruación humanas y no humanas. Explora las conexiones entre la menstruación y los períodos del año llamados “friaje”, que suelen ocurrir en los meses de junio y julio en esa región amazónica. ¿Qué modo de corporificar-conocer es puesto en acción por medio del flujo de la sangre menstrual? ¿Cuáles son las percepciones femeninas de sus cuerpos extendidos a la alteridad de otros seres? La metodología de investigación sigue la interacción dialógica con Teresa Faerito para mostrar cómo la cosmo-climatología indígena femenina articula prácticas corporales y saberes, donde la extensión de la experiencia del cuerpo-persona al cuerpo-territorio, y viceversa, es una llave de comprensión de la maraña de seres que constituyen la menstruación de la tierra.
