El presente artículo ofrece una lectura crítica de Dos modos de fe desde una aproximación a sus fuentes y a su contexto. Analizando los dos tipos de fe sugeridos por Buber, se indaga en su caracterización desde la óptica de la historia de las religiones. Esto plantea el desarrollo, desde una perspectiva filosófico-teológica, de una reflexión en torno a los criterios de demarcación buberianos en la distinción entre emuná y pistis, entre judaísmo y cristianismo, a la vez que sobre la imagen que de Jesús y de Pablo refleja la obra.
