Abstract

En este trabajo nos proponemos estudiar los mecanismos lingüísticos de atenuación en el español hablado de la comunidad urbana de Sevilla teniendo en cuenta los criterios de la edad y el sexo. Para ello, manejamos 24 entrevistas semidirigidas correspondientes al nivel de estudios alto que forman parte del corpus oral PRESEEA de la ciudad hispalense (Repede 2019), distribuidas de forma proporcional según los factores sexo ‒ hombres y mujeres‒ y grupo generacional ‒20-34 años, 35-54 años y 55 años en adelante‒. Con el fin de llevar a cabo este estudio, nos basamos en la ficha propuesta por Albelda y otros (2014) para el análisis de la atenuación. Los resultados generales indican que un 22 % de los turnos de habla del corpus están mitigados, en los que se utilizan 1280 recursos de atenuación. Se trata, además, de un fenómeno lingüístico que se manifiesta de manera distinta entre los hombres y las mujeres entrevistadas, así como entre los tres grupos etarios.
