Interpolation of a measure of weak non-compactness

Abstract

The author proves the interpolation formula for the measure of non-compactness \(\gamma,\) \[ \gamma(T:\bar{A}_E\mapsto\bar{B}_E)\leq C \psi_E(\gamma(T:A_0\mapsto B_0),\gamma(T:A_1\mapsto B_1)), \] where the operator \(T:A_j\mapsto B_j\) is bounded in the Banach spaces \(A_j, B_j\), \((j=0,1)\), \(\bar{A}_E\) is the interpolation space of Lions and Peetre, generated by a lattice \(E\) with the fundamental function \(\psi_E(s,t).\)
