A Representação Social da Maconha no Jornalismo Brasileiro

Abstract

Esta pesquisa apresenta um estudo sobre a empregabilidade das palavras “maconha” e “cannabis” em matérias selecionadas do portal de notícias G1 em 2022. O corpus desta pesquisa consiste em 31 matérias extraídas do portal de notícias G1, utilizando as seguintes palavras-chaves para busca: “maconha G1” e “cannabis G1”. A investigação buscou compreender o contexto por trás do uso do termo “maconha” e do termo “cannabis” em matérias selecionadas. O estudo traz contribuições para o jornalismo por meio da observação sobre de notícias jornalísticas, apontando suas infl uências na construção da representação social relacionada à erva na sociedade brasileira.
