Acciones de validación en Matemática en clases de la escuela secundaria

Abstract

Se reporta aquí una investigación exploratoria sobre cómo un grupo de estudiantes del nivel secundario superior (16–17 años) valida su conocimiento matemático. La investigación fue realizada en las clases de un curso de una escuela de la Provincia de Buenos Aires, Argentina. Se estudian acciones que los estudiantes manifi estan en actividades diseñadas para promover la justificación, la confrontación, la defensa y la refutación. Mediante las acciones identificadas, los alumnos elaboran razones para construir un argumento y que pueda conducir a una prueba de tipo pragmática o intelectual (Brousseau, 1995). La experiencia se ha desarrollado en un ámbito escolar de clases regulares, con alumnos organizados en equipos de pares dentro de la clase, por tiempo prolongado. El estudio muestra una gran fluctuación en la apropiación de acciones para la validación, es decir recursos o acciones que son empleadas en un problema y podrían volver a emplearse en otros, no aparecen en el mismo grado que el anterior.
