La lectura interactiva y su relación con el desarrollo narrativo oral en el Nivel Inicial

Abstract

La visión de la lectura centrada en habilidades de decodificación se vio transformada a partir del enfoque psicolingüístico (Goodman, 1996) y de las ideas transaccionales (Rosenblatt, en Dubois, 1991) hacia una concepción de la lectura como un proceso a͏ctivo͏ ͏de creación de significado. Sin embargo, este nuevo enfoque no siempre se ve reflejado en el aula. El presente estudio surge de la necesidad de repensar la manera de acercar los libros a los niños en el Nivel Inicial y busca analizar el impacto de la lectura interactiva en el desarrollo discursivo narrativo de estudiantes de sala de 5 años. Se empleó una metodología descriptiva y cuasi experimental: durante cuatro meses, el grupo experimental participó en secuencias de lectura interactiva y actividades de producción oral, mientras que se comparó su desempeño con el grupo control, a partir de evaluaciones pretest y postest. Los resultados muestran una progresión significativa en el grupo experimental, especialmente en la calidad de las renarraciones, que evolucionaron hacia textos completos y ordenados, incluso en cuentos sin estructuras repetitivas. Estos hallazgos sugieren que la práctica sistemática de la lectura interactiva y la renarración favorece la apropiación de la estructura narrativa y el desarrollo de la habilidad discursiva oral.
