Procedimientos del fantástico en El proceso e Historia de fantasmas: una perspectiva de la prioridad del objeto

Abstract

El presente trabajo explora la relación que las novelas El proceso (Kafka, 1925) e Historia de fantasmas (Freudenthaler, 2019) establecen con el género fantástico. Más específicamente, se profundiza en la mediación que establece la apariencia estética (ästhetischer Schein) (Adorno, 1983) entre el contenido de las obras y los elementos característicos del género fantástico que se desarrollan en ellas. El enfoque en esta mediación permite visualizar las tensiones dentro de las obras, entre sus diferentes momentos, así como también valorar los procedimientos artísticos a través de los cuales estas mismas redimensionan y resignifican los elementos de la tradición literaria fantástica. La historia de sus figuras, preservada en el valor estético de contenidos y formas, se revela en el retensionamiento de estas por medio de una radicalización de procedimientos pertenecientes a la tradición del fantástico.
