This paper explores the concept of the linguistic personality of Kazakhstani poet and public fi gure Olzhas Suleimenov as a key actor in intercultural communication, viewed not only as a bearer of linguistic knowledge but also as a representative of a specifi c cultural worldview. Understanding linguistic personality includes one’s readiness and ability to engage in speech in a multilingual and multicultural environment, taking into account culturally determined values, strategies, and norms of communication. In today’s globalized society, the eff ectiveness of intercultural communication is determined by the level of communicative and intercultural competence of the linguistic personality. Particular attention is paid to the individual’s ability to adapt to cultural diff erences, interpret cultural codes, and maintain mutual understanding between representatives of diff erent cultures. Olzhas Suleimenov creates his works in the context of intercultural communication, which is characteristic of Kazakhstan. The poet writes at the intersection of the Russian and Kazakh languages, so his work incorporates artistic images and linguacultures of two cultures, literatures, and worldviews. The relevance of this topic is linked to the growing importance of intercultural interactions in educational, social, professional, and international contexts.
