ResumenEl presente texto se centra en la doble dimensión —política y moral— que asumió el legado guevarista en la guerrilla marxista argentina de los años setenta. A tal fin, comienza atendiendo al impacto experimentado por el marxismo latinoamericano tras el triunfo de la Revolución Cubana —principalmente en lo referido a la caracterización de la revolución, por un lado, y al papel y modalidad de la lucha armada, por otro— puesto que es en ese escenario donde se inscribe la experiencia de la izquierda armada argentina. A partir de allí, analiza la historia y las características del Partido Revolucionario de los Trabajadores-Ejército Revolucionario del pueblo (PRT-ERP), a la luz de aquella doble dimensión del legado guevarista. De ahí que atienda tanto a la modalidad y los sentidos específicos que asumió el foquismo en materia de línea política de la organización, como a aquellos valores ético-morales que moldearon la identidad partidaria y de los cuales emanaron mandatos colectivos irrenunciables que determinaron el accionar de la organización. AbstractThe present text focuses on the double dimension —political and moral— that the Guevarist legacy assumed in the Argentine Marxist guerrilla movement of the 1970s. To this end, it begins with the impact experienced by Latin American Marxism after the triumph of the Cuban Revolution —principally with regard to the characterization of the revolution, on the one hand, and the role and modality of the armed struggle, on the other— that is in that scenario where the experience of the Argentine armed left is inscribed. From there, it analyzes the history and characteristics of the Workers› Revolutionary Party-Revolutionary People›s Army [PRT-ERP], in light of a double dimension of the Guevarist legacy. Hence, it addresses both the modality and the specific senses assumed by the foquism in terms of the political line of the organization, as well as those ethico-moral values ​​that shaped the party›s identity and from which emanated unrenounceable collective mandates that determined the actions of the organization.
