Abstract

Digitale Spiele sind fester Bestandteil der Populärkultur. Sie sind Teil der Lebenswirklichkeit vieler Menschen – vor allem, aber längst nicht nur, Jugendlicher. Für Schülerinnen und Schüler sind sie ein selbstverständlicher Teil des Alltags. Sie didaktisch einzusetzen, heißt also, an diese Begeisterung anzuknüpfen. Dieser Band erschließt Digitale Spiele als Medium, mit dem es nachhaltig gelingt, über verschiedene Kompetenzbereich hinweg, problemorientiertes und forschend-entdeckendes historisches Lernen anzuregen. Der Band enthält zahlreiche Arbeitsblätter für den Geschichtsunterricht zu Praxisbeispielen rund um Digitale Spiele.
