Qualidade microbiológica do Brycon microleps (piraputanga) de cativeiro e capturado no rio Cuiabá-MT

Abstract

A bacia do rio Cuiaba, no estado de Mato Grosso, e uma das principais receptoras de esgotos domesticos e industriais, e poristo, os peixes capturados nesta regiao podem estar contaminados, sendo a criacao de peixes em cativeiro uma alternativapara a obtencao de peixes de melhor qualidade microbiologica. Exemplares de Brycon microleps (piraputanga) oriundos dorio Cuiaba e tambem de cultivo em Mato Grosso, foram analisados quanto as bacterias heterotroficas aerobias mesofilas,coliformes termotolerantes, Aeromonas spp. e Salmonella spp., nos meses de chuva e seca. Dos exemplares foramutilizados figados, e para a comparacao dos dados utilizou-se a correlacao de Spearman e o teste de Kolmogorov-Smirnov.Verificou-se o efeito da sazonalidade (mes de coleta) sobre a contagem de bacterias heterotroficas aerobias mesofilas,coliformes termotolerantes e Aeromonas spp., tanto em peixes capturados no rio como nos cultivados. As maiores contagensforam observadas no final do periodo seco e no inicio do periodo chuvoso, ou seja, nos meses mais quentes do ano, entreagosto e marco. Foram isoladas A. hydrophila, A. caviae, A. sobria, Salmonella spp., Escherichia coli, Pantoea agglomerans,Serratia ficaria, Serratia rubidea, Edwardsiella tarda, Klebsiella oxytoca e Proteus vulgaris. Verificou-se que a probabilidadede ocorrencia da contaminacao por mesofilos em peixes capturados no rio e a mesma nos obtidos em cultivo.
