<div class="htmlview paragraph">A theoretical and experimental investigation into the use of elastomers as the energy storage element of a regenerative braking system for urban vehicles is being carried out. This work has included the design and fabrication of full-scale elastomeric energy storage units which were tested to investigate energy density, efficiency and stress-relaxation. A complete small-scale system which simulates a vehicle was tested during transient speed conditions, and a complete full-scale system to be laboratory tested is under construction.</div>
| selected citations These citations are derived from selected sources. This is an alternative to the "Influence" indicator, which also reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | 1 | |
| popularity This indicator reflects the "current" impact/attention (the "hype") of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network. | Average | |
| influence This indicator reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | Average | |
| impulse This indicator reflects the initial momentum of an article directly after its publication, based on the underlying citation network. | Average |
