The Richelain cabbage is a newly released cultivar for the fresh market. It is resistant to races 2, 6 and 7 (Williams 1966) or ECD 16/02/31 and 16/02/30 (Buczacki et al. 1975) of the clubroot pathogen, Plasmodiophora brassicae Wor. Slightly ovate heads with dark blue green crinkly leaves and near white internal color are some other features of this cultivar.
