Abstract

Absolvent is a hard red winter wheat (Triticum aestivum L. em. Thell.) with bread-making quality, good winterhardiness, straw strength, kernel weight and test weight, early maturity and is suited for production in the Atlantic Region. Maintenance of breeder seed and distribution of pedigreed seed will be carried out by Minas Seed Cooperative Ltd., Canning, Nova Scotia.Key words: Wheat (winter), cultivar description
