Abstract

Max is a hard red spring wheat (Triticum aestivum L.em. Thell.) with milling quality and high yield in Eastern Canada. It is resistant to powdery mildew, has good straw strength, and is suited for production under intensive management. Maintenance of breeder seed and distribution of pedigreed seed is through Minas Seed Cooperative Limited, Canning, Nova Scotia.Key words: Wheat (spring), cultivar description
