The Acadie cabbage is resistant to races 1 and 6 (Williams 1966) or ECD16/31/30, 16/02/30 (Buczacki et al. 1975) of the clubroot pathogen, Plasmodiophora brassicae Wor. Attractiveness in color, firmness and uniformity of head size are the other main features of this cultivar.
